Organic PCM (Phase Change Material) gel pouches are mainly designed for cold chain application purpose. Ru Entropy supplies a series of different temperatures to suit cold chain application needs. However, proper designed PCM gel pouches can also be used as cooling vest inserts or other innovative cooling / heating applications.
The product changes from solid to solid gel within the temperature range required for the products it protects ( gel form PCM: it is solid hard in solid phase and it is soft gel in liquid phase ), resulting in super-efficient thermal packaging that can fill thermal dead zones and sized to fit any application. Organic PCM gel pouch is not commonly called gel pouch which is water based.

Our PCM Vest uses biodegradable organic PCM (high latent heat) as core filling, available in solid-liquid or solid-solid gel form. It cools gently by absorbing body heat when PCM melts, stabilizing body temperature without extreme cold shock like ice vests. Ideal for military gear, hazmat suits, mascot costumes, etc., offering lasting, comfortable temperature control for high-temperature workers.
